So So So Ahead
of Her Time, Beguilingly Beautiful and Impressively Irresistible
By Andrew Rudder for Pulp Magazine
You could search in the South Pacific Ocean, east of Vanuatu,
west of Tonga and South of Tuvalu within the Republic of the
Fiji Islands,
Throughout it’s mountainous ranges and the tropical covered
forests of its vast archipelago within a culture rich mosaic
of indigenous, Indian and European traditions,
And you will not find another wondrous winsome woman like Nilanti
Narain whose bewitching beauty is more aesthetically appealing
than a field of Blue Hope diamonds,
I searched through the great state of California within its
most populous city of Los Angeles,
I couldn’t find another lovely lissome lady like Nilanti
Narain who epitomizes the ideal conception of beauty so well
that she has done Aphrodite and Eros justice,
Her profound pristine pulchritude is strung on her like exquisite
jewels on the golden thread of a lavish necklace,
And the more one inquires into the soothing sanctuary of her
aesthetic domain the more one develops an aesthetic appetite
for her stunning sensuality & succulent sweetness,
So far ahead of her Time that one look into the big bright
beautiful beatific brown eyes of Nilanti Narain,
Your mystified mind will instantly be whisked away into the
future like passing the international date line in a Gulfstream
private airplane,
So Beguiling that once you become seduced by the exquisite
elegance of this enticing enchantress and haplessly fall
within the soothing sanctuary of her aesthetic domain,
You’ll quickly experience the most immense and intense
ardent aesthetic pleasure to your stupefied brain,
So Irresistible that the pleasurable contemplation from the
multitude of her adoring fans shower her poignant pulchritude
incessantly like Southern California winter rains,
The feeling they get from her arresting alluring angelic
aesthetic appeal is lovely and is like being enlivened with
champagne,
She transcends North America into Europe from Kiev in the
Ukraine to Barcelona and Madrid in Spain,
Where there they also praise her lissome loveliness again
and again,
For the seemingly boundlessness of her poignant pristine
beauty that lies on the front-lines of her fine feminine
mystique is like an unsolved mystery that they cannot explain,
As it is so boundless with a beauty-filled-divine and a tantalizing-therapeutic-allure
that it is soothing to the profound pain . . .
Of Beauty-deprived-aestheticians like the anesthetic shot
of cocaine in the vein,
Within
the entertainment capital of the world where hundreds of
thousands of new pretty faces are constantly lissomely
walking along the catwalks of Los Angeles’ membrane,
The one thing that stands out within Nilanti Narain is not
a vainglorious blind pursuit for celebrity and fame,
But rather an indomitable noble drive to perfect her craft
in the entertainment industry that will take her illustrious
modeling career to the top where she will forever remain.
Work Hard,
Remain Positive and Optimistic, and to Never Give Up in
Life.
By Andrew Rudder for Pulp Magazine

traveling from one creative and challenging modeling
project to one of my biggest passions
ever! Im actually working in the studio as we speak
and everything I produce is going to be HOT! It's exciting
and exhilarating for
me! I've also started my own PR/Marketing Company called
Rain Entertainment. I've been blessed with success with that as
well. Life is wonderful!
So what is the philosophy that Nilanti lives in accordance
with throughout her hectic and fulfilling
lifestyle.
“Work hard, remain positive and optimistic,

as the world in her hands,
For me it's always about growing. I've learned that with

be afraid to take a chance. As of right now my music is very
important to me and is my main focus. |
Andrew: Its
with great pleasure that I introduce to you a prepossessing
and professional model with a multifaceted creative soul
from Los Angeles California named Nilanti Narain, who has
taken the time out of her busy modeling
and business schedule to do this interview with yours truly. On
behalf of the Pulp Magazine family whom work extremely hard
to bring our loyal readers the very best informative and entertaining
content, I'm
very delighted to
have you Nilanti and I'm
very excited to interview you! I hope that this interview
will be the first of many with us and other magazines during
your truly
promising career. So without further adieu let us get
this interview started!
Andrew: Why don't we start with you first telling us a bit
more
about yourself: like how and why you got into modeling, and
what is
it about it that captivates your mind and stimulates your
creative
imagination.
Nilanti: I got into modeling when I was 16. I was approached
by a casting director that worked for a company in Hollywood
that worked on a lot of music videos and print campaigns.
From meeting him I started booking jobs and then went on
to meeting more people within the industry.
As far as what captivates me with modeling, I've actually
always wanted to be a performer. With modeling you have to" become" someone
or be able to possess the ability to be evil and then sweet
at the next moment. For me shooting or walking down a runway
is exhilarating. I never feel like I'm working because there
so much passion involved.
Andrew: Did you always know that you wanted to pursue a professional
career in modeling from the time you were a little girl?
Nilanti: Oh, yeah. Definitely. When I was little I used to sing
Mariah Carey's "Vision of love" and my
parents used to tape it (laughing). I have it on tape!
Overall I just loved being on center stage.
Andrew: Being convinced to pursue a career in modeling is
one thing,
but actually believing that you possess the requisite
talent,
focus and drive to succeed in a very tough, unforgiving business
is
quite another. When did you actually believe that you
possessed
the requisite intangible qualities and characteristics to
make it
in the entertainment industry as a model?
Nilanti: When I started modeling I was 135 pounds. I weigh 110 pounds
now. I was much "thicker" than I am
now but it didn’t seem to matter because I still got
work. I ended up losing the weight because I wanted to be
healthier. Overall, I always really believed in myself. No
matter how different I look, it's really about how confident
I am within myself. I know that I truly possess something
unique and my drive is incredible. So whether it's modeling,
acting, or singing….. I'm going to win.
Andrew: What experience do you value more and attain more
personal
satisfaction from as a model: the creative process behind
an
intimate collaboration with a talented photographer,
make-up artist
and/or designer OR seeing the reaction from your family,
friends
and fans they bare witness to the finished product?
Nilanti: Both. I can't choose between the two because they
both are very important to me. The creative process is the
fun part that actual drives me to continue doing it and the
reaction is what empowers me.
Andrew: Who
are some of the role models that you greatly admire?
Nilanti: n I greatly admire my parents. My dad for his hard work,
drive, intelligence, and wisdom. My mother for her strength,
love, and patience. They are why I am where I am today.
Support and love has gotten me through all the rough points
in my life and they have always given me that. There truly
amazing.
Andrew: I
know that you also possess an ardent passion for music
as you enjoy singing and performing
on stage, so which contemporary artists would you like
to collaborate with both in the studio and on stage?
Nilanti: Wow there's so many! Jay-Z, John Legend, Common,
John Mayer, Maroon 5, Robin Thicke, Nas, and so many more!
I couldn't name them all.
Andrew: You have one of the most sublime statuesque prepossessing
physiques Nilanti that I’ve
seen for awhile that is accentuated by all of your artistic
poses, so I am curious to know what does your diet
and exercise regimen consist of?
Nilanti: First and foremost let me say thank you! I try
to workout at least 3 times a week. It gets tough but I have
to. As far as my diet I don’t diet. I eat healthy and
then if I want something naughty I eat it! I can't resist
chocolate or cake! (laughing). But seriously it’s all
about moderation.
Andrew: Why do you think that some models enter the entertainment industry, attain
their 15 minutes of fame and than vanish without a trace, but others such
as world renowned models like Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Kimora
Lee, and lesser known models such as Kim Loan
and Dawn Rochelle are capable of transforming their early
success as a model into a long lasting, successful career
within the entertainment industry as business women?
Nilanti: You just answered your question. Some women
have the brain power to turn there fame into an empire and
others don't. It's simple. We have followers and leaders.
I have and never will be content with only doing one thing.
For me, there are so many possibilities and opportunities
that I will never stop.
Andrew: In an industry that has sweet tooth for eye candy where
many women, lured by the prospect of making fast-money,
dress too raunchy to produce photos & videos
that are gratuitous, your photos always
imbued with exquisite elegance, comely class and artistic merit. That's
one of the things that I like about you
Nilanti! Talk a bit about the
importance for you to creatively collaborate with
talented photographers to produce photographs that harmoniously balance
your stunning sensuality, physical attractiveness & erotic charm
with a unique artistic style, elegant look and resplendent
grace.
Nilanti: Class and respect are two very important things
to me. It comes from being brought up well. I always tell
photographers, stylists and editors that I WILL do sexy but
that's it. Nothing nude, NEVER! I just don’t think
that’s necessary. You can be amazingly sexy and be
fully clothed. It's all about the sex appeal you give from
within.
Andrew: Do you place any limitations on yourself in terms of what
you will and will not do in this industry to succeed?
Nilanti: Definitely. I truly believe in hard work and REAL
talent. Doing disrespectful things to yourself to get ahead
is not necessary.
Andrew: Do you think that the emerging online communication
networks out there such as myspace.com,
onemodelplace.com, and modelmayhem.com  have
enabled entrepreneurial minded models such as yourself to effectively
market yourself and as a result replace modeling agencies?
Nilanti: I wouldn’t necessarily say it's to replace
modeling agencies because agencies do so much more than just
have your pictures up. I definitely think it's a great marketing
tool and a wonderful way to be seen. I never had MySpace
for personal uses, but my manager set mine up for my music.
It's been great having one and it gets me a lot of work.
Andrew:
If I was accompanying you to a photo shoot from Los Angeles
California to Austin Texas, what albums would I definitely
be listening to in the car on the trip there?
Nilanti: Robin Thicke, love him. Cold Play they are so amazing.
Some of that Bay area music to keep us awake (Laughing).
Then to top it off some Bollywood music! Got to stay true
to my roots!
Andrew: My no limit credit card slips out
of my pocket and magically appears in your hands as I finish
this interview with you; what do you buy before I find out
that its missing?!!! [I know in real
life you would have returned my card!]
Nilanti: Exactly! I would give it back of course! Gosh!
(Laughs) I buy a pair of Jimmy Choo's, Fendi Spy Bag, Fedora
hat, and some Aviators! Oh, and some Coffee bean!
Andrew: What is your ideal exotic getaway?
Nilanti: Speaking of, I need one of those. Ideal exotic
getaway would be going to Fiji, having my own island there,
staying there for a week, with my own chef. I love to eat!
Andrew: Where is the most unusual place that you ever
had sex or made love?
Nilanti: Sorry, I don’t talk about those things.
(Smiling)
Andrew: What sort of qualities in a man do you look for
and really turn you on?
Nilanti: I value honesty, loyalty, respect, and a great
sense of humor.
Andrew: What is your favorite food?
Nilanti: Indian and Thai food.
Andrew: Who is your favorite actress and what is your
favorite movie?
Nilanti: I don’t really have a favorite actress.
I love Aishwariya Rai, she's an Indian actress, Halle Berry,
and Sophia Loren.
Andrew: Name one of your addictions?
Nilanti: Chocolate! Chocolate!
Andrew: What is your favorite word to cuss with when
your really upset?
Nilanti: Fuck** LOL
Andrew: What is your favorite part of the human anatomy?
Nilanti: Eyes
Andrew: If you were a super heroine what super powers
would you want: super speed, super
strength, X-ray vision, invisibility or the ability
to fly?!
Nilanti: Invisibilty! I always say I wish I was invisible
sometimes. You read my mind!
Andrew: What does sex appeal and beauty mean to you? Is
it a state of mind and attitude
(mental/intellectual), physical perfection as defined
by society, or being born with the right set of physical
Nilanti: It's definitely a state a mind. It's all about confidence
and sexiness you posess with you that comes out from inside.
You can be amazingly beautiful but not feel beautiful at
all, which completely comes out in your actions.
Andrew: What is beautiful about yourself?
Nilanti: What's beautiful about Nilanti is her heart,
genuine personality, and charisma.
Andrew: If you had to change one thing about yourself
what would it be?
Nilanti: I would change how stubborn I can be at times.
That’s not a good quality.
Andrew: For all of the people, photographers, agencies
and companies seeing you for the first time
who will want to gain more information about
you, tell them where they can go to see and read about some
of your past, present
and future projects?
Nilanti: They can go to MySpace.Com/Nilanti
Andrew: William Faulkner is quoted as saying, “The
aim of every artist is to arrest
motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold
it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks
at it, it moves again since
it is life. Since man is mortal, the only immortality
possible for him is to leave something behind himbeautiful
pictures move again in the mind's
eye of a people a hundred years  later
Nilanti, what do think they ll
say?
Nilanti: Elegance, Individuality, Presence. Beauty, and
Determination.
Andrew: Tell the Pulp audience about your exciting new
PR and Marketing company called Rain Entertainment, how the
idea came to fruition, and what
do you hope to accomplish by its creation.
Nilanti: I'm about to finish school and have my BA in
International Business with a minor in marketing in less
than 6 months. Last November I decided to start my own company
because of my passion for public relations, promotions, and
marketing. Because of all of my relationships over the years
I was blesses to have many big accounts that people work
years for. I have an amazing assistant, Khristie, who takes
care of everything I can't and makes my life very easy. We
also just hired 3 more employees for the promotions and marketing
division. Some of our clientele include Source Magazine,
Show Magazine, EXOTIC Magazine, Ziba Beauty, and LATV. Very
excited and looking forward to the future.
Andrew: Are there any other exciting projects that you will be
working on that you want to tell our readers about and/or
anyone that you want to thank?
Nilanti: Yeah! Im actually coming out on a show called, "The
Five" on BET which will be airing in July. I have a
commercial with Marc Ecko and Nissan coming soon as well.
I have a comedy I'm working on now with Vida Guerra called, "Tamales
and Gumbo" And the most exciting part is my music! I'm
taking over the game this summer. It's going to be insane.
I definitely want to my parents, China, Jonathan from Warren & Baram
Management, Vishal, and of course all my supporters and fans.
And of course Andrew from Pulp Mag!
