Andrew: It's
with great pleasure that I introduce to you a wondrous winsome
woman who is gracing the covers of magazines from Voluptuous
Vixens and Lingerie to Hot Shots and Playboy with her prepossessing
pulchritude named Mandy Lynn, who is a thought provoking
bundle of joy, professional model and advice columnist. She
has taken the time out of her very busy international modeling
career to do this interview with yours truly and I appreciate
that. On behalf of the Pulp Magazine family whom work extremely
hard to bring our loyal readers the very best in informative
and entertaining content, I'm very delighted to have you
Mandy and I'm very excited to interview you! I hope that
this interview will be the first of many with us and other
magazines during your truly illustrious career. So without
further adieu let us get this interview started!
Mandy: awww thank u for the compliments. It is my pleasure
to do this interview with you Andrew! and hello to the readers!
Andrew: No great journey toward our desired destination in
life is accomplished solely by ourselves, so talk a bit about
the people in your life who have and continue to support you
throughout your illustrious modeling career, and as you continue
to make your indelible mark on the sands of time.
Mandy: Well it's funny, my success IS almost solely credited
to myself. I get offered help all the time but I prefer to
be in charge of myself. people always assume since I am so
successful that there is a team of people behind me but there
isn't. I can't stand people telling me what to do. I like to
move through life at my own pace and do what makes me comfortable.
With the internet these days it is so easy to just be your
own agent. I am very independent in case u couldn't tell lol
Andrew: How and why did you get into modeling and what is it
about it that captivates your mind and stimulates your creative
imagination.
Mandy: I have always loved being in front of the camera. It
was just a matter of time before I got into it full time. I
love seeing the results and it is so much fun being published
and seeing yourself on the newsstand. Covers are the best!
It's a surreal feeling!
Andrew: Did you always know that you wanted to pursue a professional
career in modeling from the time you were a little girl?
Mandy: Yes definitely. I was always striking a pose and dressing
up as a little girl. I would look at magazines and wonder what
it was like to be in them!
Andrew: Being convinced to pursue a career in modeling is one
thing, but actually believing that you possess the requisite
talent, focus and drive to succeed in a very tough, unforgiving
business is quite another. When did you actually believe that
you possessed the requisite intangible qualities and characteristics
to make it in the entertainment industry as a model?
Mandy: Thats a hard question. It's just something u know and
feel.
Andrew: What experience do you value more and attain more personal
satisfaction from as a model: the creative process behind an
intimate collaboration with a talented photographer, make-up
artist and/or designer OR seeing the reaction from your family,
friends and fans as they bare witness to the finished product?
Mandy: Definitely the reaction of fans, friends and family.
It feels so good to make them proud.
Andrew: Wayne W. Dyer is quoted as saying, “When you
dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the
floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way.” As
you dance your way through the entertainment industry, what
has been some of the steps that you enjoyed along the way thus
far?
Mandy: Meeting my fans and getting to work with amazing photographers
Andrew: You have one of the most refined, voluptuous physiques
Mandy that I've seen that evokes a stunning sensuality, epitomizes
one of the ideal conceptions of the female anatomy and is always
accentuated by your artistic poses within your prepossessing
photographs, so I'm curious to know what does your diet and
exercise regimen consist of? Since you write an advice column,
what advice would you give all of the envious women out there
reading this interview about staying trim and toned but healthy?
Mandy: Aww thank u. I don't consider myself
voluptuous tho, when I hear that word I picture someone who
is thick. I am very petite, however my boobs are voluptuous
lol. my secret is my fast metabolism! i never work out and
i eat junk, that is probably not what the women wanted to hear
lol
Andrew: Why do you think that some models enter the entertainment
industry, attain their 15 minutes of fame and than vanish without
a trace, but others such as world renowned models like Cindy
Crawford, Christy Turlington, Kimora Lee, and lesser known
models such as Kim Loan and Dawn Rochelle are capable of transforming
their early success as a model into a long lasting, successful
career within the entertainment industry as business women?
Mandy: You can be a beautiful girl but if u don't have that
extra something u are going nowhere. Some girls just shine
brighter than others
Andrew: Do you think that the emerging online communication
networks out there such as myspace.com, onemodelplace.com,
and modelmayhem.com have enabled entrepreneurial minded models
such as yourself to effectively market yourself and as a
result replace modeling agencies?
Mandy: Absolutely, that is what i was saying earlier. The
internet has made it possible to be your own agent.
Andrew: If I was accompanying you to a photo shoot from Long
Island to Boston, what albums would I definitely be listening
to in the car on the trip there?
Mandy: Mostly hip hop, Mims, Ciara, Cassie,
Fergie....
Andrew: My no limit credit card slips out of my pocket and
magically appears in your hands as I finish this interview
with you; what do you buy before I find out that it's missing?!!!
[I know in real life you would have returned my card!]
Mandy: lol I would have? j/k I would go to Victoria's Secret
to buy some lingerie that I’m sure you wouldn’t
mind seeing me in making you instantly forgive me! haha
Andrew: What sort of qualities in a man do you look for and
really turn you on?
Mandy: I like for a man to have good hygiene,
smell good, and have a good job.
Andrew: What is your favorite food?
Mandy: I love italian food!
Andrew: Name one of your addictions? (Something that you
can't do without)
Mandy: My computer!!! I seriously do not know what I would
do. I told my family I want to be buried with my computer
lol
Andrew: What is your favorite word to cuss with when your
really upset?
Mandy: fuck
Andrew: What is your favorite part of the female and male
anatomy?
Mandy: I like nice eyes
Andrew: If you were a super heroine what super powers would
you want: super speed, super strength, X-ray vision, invisibility,
the ability to read minds or the ability to fly?!
Mandy: ohh this is a fun one, i would love to be invisible
and read minds
Andrew: What is your favorite column or feature in Pulp Magazine?
Mandy: I really like the movie reviews, i think they are
well written
Andrew: What does sex appeal and beauty mean to you? Is it
a state of mind and attitude (mental/intellectual), physical
perfection as defined by society, or being born with the
right set of physical attributes that get the teenage boys'
hormones into a frenzy?
Mandy: It is a combination. You can be beautiful but u need
to have a beautiful mind and attitude to match to be the
whole package!
Andrew: What is beautiful about yourself?
Mandy: My mind. I am a very caring person and I love to help
others in need
Andrew: If you had to change one thing about yourself what
would it be?
Mandy: My weight. I have always been so damn skinny and I
am very insecure about it.
Andrew: For all of the people, photographers, agencies and
companies seeing you for the first time who will want to
gain more information about you, tell them where they can
go to see and read about some of your past, present and future
projects?
Mandy: Definitely head over to my site www.clubmandylynn.com and go to my resume page to see all the work I have done
so far. The list will be sure to grow rapidly in 2007 as
I have a ton of great things going on!
Andrew: William Faulkner is quoted as saying, "The aim
of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial
means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when
a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.
Since man is mortal, the only immortality possible for him
is to leave something behind him that is immortal since it
will always move." When your profoundly beautiful pictures
move again in the mind's eye of people a hundred years later
Mandy, what do you think they'll say?
Mandy: Aww that is a beautiful thought. I would hope they
would think "wow what a sexy babe!" lol
Andrew: Are there any other exciting projects that you will
be working on that you want to tell our readers about and/or
anyone that you want to thank?
Mandy: I have a ton of exciting things planned for 2007.
This is going to be an awesome year so be sure to come by
my website www.clubmandylynn.com to keep up with my career
and join my super sexy members area!
I want to thank my fans for always being there to support
me! I hope you all enjoyed reading a little about me!
Andrew: Thank you Mandy for doing this interview with Pulp
Magazine and I! We wish you all of the best in the future. |
