1. What does Hip Hop mean to you? and why?
It used to mean rebellious and the only medium to say what you
really mean. Now it means “ Show me the money anyway you
can “
2. Name some of your favourite artists and why?
Maurice Fulton, Arthur Russell, Talking Heads, J Dilla, Black Sheep,
Basement Jaxx, Tuff Crew, Radiohead, Caetano Veloso, Jorge Ben,
Fela Kuti, D’Angelo,
Cymande, because they did what they wanted to without compromise
and when they ready to do it.
3. What part of the city did you both grow up in?
I grew up in London Ontario.

Your both known as " The gang of two".....why?
It sounded cool, like ironic, you know. A gang usually consists
of much more, but we are more than enough to handle.
6.What does ol' skool mean to you?
Without genres, unity, having
fun, dancing. None of these things exist in quality anymore.
7. Why parties? Why be dj's?????? Why not hockey players?
It just happened, and I can’t skate, week ankles. I make
films too. Dj’ing cause I had a lot of records and I couldn’t
play an instrument. We’re justwanna be rock stars
8. How long have you both worked together? and where did
you meet?
We met in London, we’ve known each other for about ten years
but only really started dj’ing together for three or four.
9. What does the " Academy" mean to you?
It means nothing to me, that’s Todd’s ish.
10. What do you both do when your NOT playing parties?
Going to school (Ocad for film), working two other jobs, being
tired, complaining a lot.
11. Tell me about the recent MANIFESTO event? How did it occur?
Ask Todd.

that true????
It is true…not are all privy to this though.
13. Are there any Toronto/ Canadian artists that you would
love to work with?
No. Maybe Glissandro70, or Abdominal
14.Tell me a bit about " Bang the party"? How
did the idea came about and why?+ Why the choice of music that
is played?

15. If you could transform into a superhero ,who would it be and
why?
Wolverine for sure. Fast healing power, strong bones, lives longer
than most. But then maybe the Beyonder
16. Whats you favourrite ol' school movie and why?
Define ol’ school movie.
17. Where do you see the gang of two in five years?
In a different country. Somewhere warm, unless Todd gets married.
18. I see your fans of Grace jones(she is on all there
party flyers)...How did this occur?? and can you each name your
favourite Grace Jones track or album?
My favorite track of all time is Pull Up To The Bumper. She appealed
to all things at that time, punky, disco, weird, androgynous, black
and white, just like the music we play.
19. "I heard"....that your planning to bring
grace jones to toronto?????
That was never true.

WOW who told you that? It usually involves a lot of yachting, kicking
little children and eating Ostrich eggs with Brie.
