Andrew Leroy Rudder was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada. He
is currently studying law at the University of Windsor and has strong
interests in charter litigation, civil litigation, equality rights, domestic
human rights law, securities, corporate/commercial, intellectual property,
and entertainment law. He has just completed his 2nd year of law school.
He also has a specialized honours degree in philosophy from York University.
Andrew is strongly against internalizing the negative stereotypes that
are perpetuated by the media and ultimately institutionalized, and allowing
those stereotypes to confine one’s own academic potential and determine
the path one takes in life. He embraces the existentialist belief that
we are all the authors of our own scripts in life. Andrew has many other
interests and passions other than law and philosophy. He studied martial
arts (jiu jitsu and judo) for over 10 years under the tutelage of Moni
Aizik. He was an actor for 7 years and has starred in advertising campaigns,
commercials, theatrical plays, television shows, music videos, and films.
After he became tired of the narrow minded stereotypical roles offered
to young black men in Canada, he began to work on a screenplay entitled
AnalySanderson – a film with two parallel stories of redemption
connected to the largest insider trading scandal in Canadian history.
Andrew also has business interests as well and is currently seeking investment
for an online marketing and music licensing agency called ANIMA Entertainment
that is geared toward providing struggling, but talented fledgling indie
musicians with another financial avenue and more public exposure.
