Toronto has a hot new trio making a splash in the indie fashion scene. Brazen Hussy. They are one of Queen West’s latest to be creating a fashion buzz. Founded by 3 women; Kathleen Pedro, Michele Pedro and Catriona Smart, they create garments that echo their youthful charm and spirit. They were recently showcasing their swimwear at the What Women Want event in Toronto last month where PulpMag had an opportunity to meet Michele and Kathleen.

Their collection embodies the sexy style of urban women. Created by confident ladies for women who are self-assured and poised in every aspect of their lives. The silhouettes are sleek, sexy and sometimes a little risqué. They use knit fabrics that hug your every curve. They design an assortment of garments including swimsuits, t shirts, dresses, accessories, lingerie and jackets.

They wanted to create something for the ladies who love looking good no matter where they go. “We create clothes for all types of women. From thin to voluptuous and curvy. We want women to feel confident and beautiful…when you put a Brazen piece on, you know you’ll turn heads!” Michele said.

Michele and Kathleen explained how important it is to service everyone that wants to buy from Brazen Hussy. If they don’t have the right fit in stock, they are happy to do custom work in-house.

Like most designers, their source of inspiration is none other than people they meet on the street, through traveling and from friends.

There will be a fashion show on Thursday July 5th at C Lounge in downtown Toronto. This show will feature some of their sexy swimsuits and summer collection.
