On The Rise
In
1999 Mariah Carey set a new trend by wearing a pair of
low rise jeans in her video for #1 hit single ‘Heartbreaker’.
Back then low rise jeans didn’t even exist. To create
the look her stylist cut the waistband right off the mid-rise
jeans. A trend was set instantly.
